My name is Terri Seeney-Majette. In 2019, I created Uptown Consulting Inc. – a minority owned business that specializes in supporting and developing special projects, outreach programs and volunteer initiatives for profit and non-profit organizations. We assist companies in developing meaningful relationships with community leaders and partnerships with non-profit organizations that address social responsibility effort that will increase local, national and/or global social impact.  We also collaborate with other consulting firms to support, plan and execute special events.

Bio / About Me:
Prior to Uptown Consulting, I joined Panasonic in 1999. Before leaving the company in 2018, where I held the position of Director, Community Relations and Outreach Programs for Panasonic Corporation of North America.

In my position, I was responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination, and implementation of Panasonic’s annual corporate outreach efforts throughout North America, and more locally in Newark, New Jersey. I managed three of Panasonic’s signature outreach programs:  Panasonic Kid Witness News, a global video education program; the Panasonic Creative Design Challenge, a robotics competition for NJ high school students; and the Panasonic Student Eco Citizenship Project, a state wide project that teaches students about the environment.

I coordinated external outreach initiatives and works to establish meaningful relationships and partnerships between Panasonic and community organizations in the city of Newark. In addition, I oversaw corporate-wide employee volunteer and fundraising activities that supported organizations such as the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, and Toys for Kids, to name a few.
